Houses sustainability characteristics in Canada?

What functions does a lot of Canadian home, or most popular? For example, insulation, passive design, solar energy, solar hot water, water tanks, energy efficient lighting, faucets and showers, ventilation roof and compost. I have a proposal on the basis of what we do here in Queensland, Australia, and I know as the brand, given the difference in climate is still interested in
