Does anyone know why they are receiving thousands of small flies back to the door of my kitchen?

This happens only at night and there No trace of them during the day. I do not live near a pond or swamp or rotten fruits or vegetables everywhere Saturated. I am a compound nearby, but if I open the door, all fly to die in thousands and all my work up. Its disgusting. However, no bite. Please help me before I make a madness. Ireland
