They are as serious gardener, you probably already home compost in your garden or are considering doing so. You've probably heard the term "compost tea" and may wonder what exactly it is and where you can buy some.
Compost tea is a wonderful byproduct of composting their efforts and not, not have to, because you only need to buy your own.
There are two schools of thought about compost tea, and while the two methods produce a wonderful product, the feeling that some of creating a step to develop its own unique, vegetables and plants will be the envy of other gardeners.
The first and simplest is simply an amount of compost in place "a tea bag, place it in a bucket with water and let sit for a period determined. For best results, there are some tips.
Fill a cloth bag with compost and tie a rope around his neck so that the bag is easy can get. A burlap bag or old pillowcase on the job well, although the water will run off of burlap can be much quicker, simply place the rope in a Nagel is dripping from his bucket. Compost can be easily put back into your compost working group continue its good work.
Some gardeners fill an old sock or two of compost and throw in a bucket of water for a day and use this as a quick solution with excellent results.
Stir the mixture or the shedding the bag and let stand for at least 12 hours, although two weeks is preferable.
The use of a particle of bag should be kept out of the mix, otherwise will be tensions, especially if you plan to use a syringe or irrigation can apply tea.
The second method actually creates a ready made tea phenols. You need a bucket (5 gallons), an air pump aquarium, air stone and some hoses. Fill the bucket with "good" bacteria. Rainwater is ideal, but if you do not have a rain barrel or tank, let the tap water for one or two days a chlorine to dissipate.
Add compost (one part compost to 4 parts water is about right) and add 2 tablespoons molasses unsulfured and leave it on the air bubble of at least one day, and preferably three days, stirring constantly. The molasses promotes the growth of bacteria is necessary. The bubbling is necessary to prevent the growth of harmful pathogens and can cause your mixture can foam.
Strain the broth through cheese cloth so that the syringe did not obstruct or shower and apply to your plants. Use the tea as soon as possible, because bacteria lose everything if the profits left after sitting for long periods.
The final product can be applied directly on the floor around the plants or directly on the leaves. By applying tea made directly to the leaves of the beneficial bacteria that help prevent disease in leaves of your plants, but this requires an open discussion and laundered through edible leaves.

Chopper best vegetables for composting?
What is a good and reasonably priced vegetable chopper for composting of age or vegetables? I always have a lot of cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, pumpkins, etc. in my garden thats about food and perfect for the compost pile, but are cut from a knife for the task is, I also have a bucket of worms to finely chop a bit of green waste. Something manually or automatically make quick work of almost task daily do not break the bank? thanks in advance
For the compost, they do not really hack, even though they break when you do. If the knife is not enough, test with a hatchet in the most difficult greens. I am in favor of the vegetables finely chopped worm for, simply use a food processor. I have a very high-profile mixer (a Vita-Mixer) and I have all kinds of vegetable waste (and also chicken and fish bones) in water and reduced to mud. This requires that some of vegetables are cut into pieces, but there may be many whole vegetables, provided they do not treat them very large. Then pour the mud in the vegetarian compost and mix it with dry leaves. It breaks down into compost in record time!
