Yes, all items listed can be composted. I like some pieces of fruit add moisture to be a balance, such as banana peels, apple cores and peels and coffee grounds egg used as well ..
making a compost

Many gardeners and farmers who have used the compound to sing this nutritious soil amendment. Many people are interested in trying his hand, but not sure what to do. Here are the facts on how to compost and what is involved in the process, if you choose your own, or just want to understand.
Compost material life is basically breaking. Through the control of different factors, can pass the most efficient manner possible. They speed, what happened random nature slow.
Plant and animal material is broken down by bacteria in the air and soil, most recently as a soil rich in nutrients, basically. By controlling the amount of moisture, heat, ventilation, and the relationship of material to control how fast things are broken.
Â
Start with the ingredients that go into a compost pile. Almost all animal and vegetable matter can be added with the exception of the dog, cat and human manure, poisons and diseases that may be harmful can hold.
Bacteria and other microbes that are the work of decomposition in the soil is desired, and compost. Something like this always must be added as a sort of principle.
The air must provide either active or passive. Without air, turn compost, viscous, rather than the reduction in falls.
The air can passively, guaranteeing products through the stack by the construction, so that added air space below, or by adding pipes, poles or plant matter, so that the air spaces.
Actively convert a battery also adds ventilation to help the cause to break down faster. You can do this by turning to a tool or a fork or a glass of compost. On Turning the drum containing the air, because bounces are within composted.
Moisture is important, too. The water should be added to a lot until like a damp sponge. This liquid such as urine or juice from the remains, tea, coffee, or pull.
Heat is, of course, built in a compost pile, due to material degradation. Gardeners in colder climates may be necessary to protect its interests in the cold by covering with hay bales or more leaves, so that the process did not stop completely.
You can be as active in composting, as you want. When ready, return the battery to be, may you have finished compost in eight months or less. If you turn it frequently or use a glass of water, can produce results within 2 weeks!
You can also often hands and let nature take its course. In this case, manure take about a year or a little more to finish.
Not much to it to make compost in question. Now that you know how to compost, you can decide how much effort, time and space that is ready to be put into it.

Thousands of small white eggs in the worm compost?
I started a worm compost bin about a month. I recently moved outside the last 2 days by a plague of mosquitoes … but it will have which will very soon as we go out cold. I was digging through it a few minutes and realized that there are thousands of little things like eggs everywhere. What are these? Also some tips on how to control mosquitoes? I do a lot reading about the correct proportions of carbon-nitrogen-and I think I have for good, and I know that mosquitoes are normal … but not only were living in and around the box … heading to the kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor! I think it could go down to the trash my basement … No errors but I do not actually there with attack on especially since I have no idea what's going to get out of the thousands of small egg! Help!
The small white eggs are likely to be a fly larva (Ie worms). Sometimes they move and sometimes do not. I put a fan next to my plate compound (containing the compost remains until I take the box). A fan even on low power, just enough wind, flies and mosquitoes can not get close to the cup. From his place in the country to have to lay their eggs, their numbers are almost nonexistent.

Adding organic matter in your compost can sometimes be a difficult situation, especially if you are new to the game of composting. You probably have a couple of things is called "green matter" and "brown stuff" too. Well, how rude, how would that sound to some of you, what really is not what. I think it all comes back to the carbon-nitrogen (C / N). green material, which is full of nitrogen usually from agricultural waste such as grass clippings and weeds are not sick, fruit scraps and humus. chicken manure and rotted manure also falls into this category. Brown matter, which is filled with carbon usually leaves, hay, sawdust and wood.
The amount of green to browns to throw in your compost is really up to you. However, There are some formulas that until you can start right plan that works for you. The first thing to keep in mind, achieving the ideal game is hot, fast compost is try to keep the ratio of 30:1. With 30 parts carbon to one part nitrogen, microbes are all positive to be able to reproduce and decompose all organic substances quickly and efficiently. A simple method I use to achieve that relationship, in the middle of the brown earth and half the green matter by weight. Keep in mind, however, that yard waste and food waste weighing more than dried leaves and hay, so it is a possibility to include three fifty-seven times the amount of matter Brown to achieve the same weight of the green stuff.
Once you have your own formula (or even the formula 30:1), it's time to start throwing everything in your glass or container of compost. Assuming you are in your garden, organic waste bin in a shady area and near a water source set of composting. Take'll fill a lot of leaves in about eight inches from your garbage and turn the hose on it to soften a bit. Then add in some material green as grass, remember, half green eyes, semi-brown to maintain weight. Mix well so that everything is distributed evenly moist. For an extra boost, sprayed a bit of land rich, but not a shovel full!
Check on your compost regularly to make sure nothing is too wet or too dry, and make sure your pile is shrinking. After a couple of weeks and regular turning of the pile should be ready for compost in the garden.

building compost bins

I can do this for a composter?
"I can an old storage area and two holes on each side and 4 on the bottom, then the output tray in the top 4 stones (no holes). Then put a layer of newspaper on the floor. Then filled with soil to its nearly 5 inches up. then fill it with egg shells, fruit scraps, etc, and add the worms? and what can not be there? Dnt want to build or spend $ thx!
If you have a 1/4in bit more than two holes on each side need, I at least six holes per square meter, both in the bottom of, for example, is needed work much more air flow. Do not use newspapers instead of broken slate, only a diffusion layer on the floor.
