The snails in the compost pile. Good or bad?
I have a green plastic boxes, with worms and ants. He noted that the development ants finer compost, and add some nutrients to the soil. However, slugs taken up residence. Is that good or bad?
For good compost is necessary to empty the compost and turn the contents before all over again. The problem with plastic "Dalek" boxes, it is hard for this, as if a a cubic open toe. Turn the compost allows air in, and that's good, because oxygen is necessary for the degradation process. They, too, the Things had on the outside of the battery inside in turn helps a fair share of heat and moisture. If you are an established colony of ants, countries such as snails, do not you do that and you can choose the screw by turning the pile. Take a large sheet of plastic and the battery is discharged. Give you can use a good mix and battery back in. They all the good that may be in the bottom of the stack – I do not agree on the propagation of worm eggs, but probably the fabric at the bottom would been OK, as it was with the definition below the level where they can have. Plastic Compost Compost is often sold as "simple" response to the friendly production – "You put things on top and the beautiful compost comes from the earth in no time" – but that is not so, if you make compost to understand. I would like to get rid of the plastic thing and get a real version of two cubic cameras. Cover with bubble wrap to keep warm in battery, no mold spores that can damage the lungs, such as carpet does. If heated in the spring, take the first battery in the camera and get nice second and sweet, no ants or earthworm humus.

Building my own compost?
I am a compost bin and I have some questions. First Do I have or wood on the ground and can directly on the floor? Second Should I line the inside with something? Third Do I have to be assumed? Will my subscription Fourth mold when it rains? Thanks!
Mine would be , Five pallets of lace, covered the inside with 1 / 2 inches square. I would join four in a square and keep it upright and put in the top fifth. I liked the ground. To connect, it was easy to solve, it moves to the right of the battery and fork / shovel the battery in the new position. I had a small plane surround with a brick at each corner and would throw it to rain for testing.

FAIR project on it, I need pictures of her body systems or nothing to do with this knowledge, how and what they do apart from eating the plant and put it into compost.
Hello techie prostomium first bit is the muzzle of the earthworm. Since there is no jaw or teeth, The worm uses its muscular pharynx to suck the floor with food. Food debris and soil from a long esophagus called to go round in an organ harvest. The stock temporarily stores the food. Then there is a very muscular organ called the gizzard forced. The muscle contracts and expands the stomach, so that the sand grains and foodstuffs to rub together. In this way, the food is reason. The food is digested in the intestine, which extends from the segment of 19 at the end of the worm. Here enzymes chemically break down food. Digested food is absorbed into the bloodstream through the intestinal walls. The digestive system of the earthworm you can think of a tube, like a reed in the archive. Complicated organs of the digestive tract are carried most of the front half of the body of a worm. The worm swallows large amounts of soil organic matter in it. The inorganic waste matter passes through the worm, unchanged. This is often on the surface of the earth in the form on the left of castings. Then feed the worm, which loosen the soil, which facilitates the entry of air and water. add your waste, and soil fertility. If there earthworms, the soil is not compatible with plants, herbs and other plants. What are some good tips for composting?
I bought a house a few months ago and I am excited to start a garden in the spring. I I probably start working with the area now, but .. I will try as compost everything I can, but I'm not sure the best way to go. I have found in tea compost, composting, worm saw, and only with a subscription. I am looking for advice and opinions on this subject. I also read somewhere that green ground matter, such as coffee and fruit and things like that buried at least 8 can only be "down, so only you can skip all the dirty" Work and just give him the floor and I put compost well? Thanks in advance! Interesting! so you do not have to do something else? Do not open or add holes or anything? That sounds great! Thanks!
Burying the coffee beans is not necessary – can only be spread on the ground and that will be involved in it, of course – the coffee beans are like Candy worm! Other organic materials can be composted vacuum that can only be buried, and then the plant is above it. digging holes on a regular basis, but work harder than just careless and paste them into a compost pile, and you do not want to do, where your garden is growing. An alternative is to run things through a blender for a shake "from your vegetable platter, then drilled or shallow ditches near your plants do pour the batter into the holes, and only then to do so. If you are in the lasagna garden "at all? This is a method of stratification in the compost at the beginning of winter and spring are usually broken and then you can jump in their work. You can make a payment Palettes clean, adding that many of the holes for aeration and drainage in a large trash can, or some of the old and build a three am, but I can draw mesh wire to make the containers throughout the year.

wood compost bins

I bent a large cube of wood ashes in my compost … bad idea, I know …?
Any suggestion to do to fix it. Everything was beautiful composting, but now it just died.
No, not a bad idea! Wood ash is almost equal to the lime. Everybody put lime in the compost pile. Really not so bad idea. I live in New England, I have a wood stove all winter as I can remove the ashes from the woodstove throw it across the yard. I have the best hydrangeas and lilacs in the neighborhood. Mt Viburnum are beautiful, and my grass is green.
